The CACC or Client Advisory Committee of Champlain is a network of clients from the Champlain area with lived experience in mental health and / or addiction fields that strives to represent the needs and concerns of all clients within that area



The CACC provides ongoing advice and systemic advocacy to the AMHNC (The Addiction and Mental Health Network of Champlain) on behalf of all people with mental health challenges and / or addictions in the Champlain LHIN. This relationship allows the LHIN to properly endeavour to meet all needs of their clients in a timely manner. They will focus on education, prevention, the reduction of stigma, early detection, informed involvement of the clients and will include best practice methods, alternative and complementary methods and harm reduction options.
